Adventures for Kids

Providing unparalleled adventures and innovative guest offerings, Siyam World Maldives has introduced three delightful mixed breed ponies named “Cherry,” “Rose,” and “Honey” to its esteemed equestrian community. Children between the ages of 4 and 11.99 can now enjoy an extraordinary and unforgettable holiday experience!

At Siyam World, young visitors can now enjoy sunrise or sunset pony rides as the resort recently added mixed-breed ponies to its horse stables. The introduction of these three ponies marks a significant milestone, as they are the first-ever to be welcomed into a resort in the Maldives. The Maldives Ministry of Fishery & Agriculture conducted a thorough approval process before granting permission for their arrival earlier this year, making them the newest members of the Siyam World family.

A skilled and dedicated team of hostlers and medical professionals, led by a specialized equestrian vet permanently stationed on the island, is always available to provide assistance and care for these majestic creatures. The team spares no effort to ensure the well-being, comfort, and safety of the ponies. Every detail has been meticulously considered to seamlessly integrate the ponies into the island’s lifestyle. As a result, the entire team takes great pride in introducing these three ponies to the existing family of Indian horses, all of whom now call this well-equipped ranch their home.

Covering an impressive area of 54 hectares, Siyam World stands as one of the most expansive island resorts in the country. Utilizing this vast space to its advantage, the resort has meticulously designed and constructed an extraordinary 16,000 square meter horse ranch, surpassing the size of the renowned Aintree Racecourse in the UK by over 25 percent. The ranch is equipped with a wide range of exceptional facilities, including dedicated stabling, well-appointed stalls, fully stocked feed and tack rooms, refreshing water troughs, designated areas for hay and bedding storage, and expansive fenced paddocks and fields. Moreover, a state-of-the-art vet clinic ensures top-notch care for the horses.

According to Ausy Waseem, Resort Manager at Siyam World, the resort aims to create a welcoming and professional environment while preserving the charm of its distinctive location. They take pride in delivering an extraordinary experience that caters to both equine enthusiasts and nature lovers. Additionally, the welfare of the animals is subject to regular inspections by the Ministry of Fishery & Agriculture, ensuring continuous independent oversight.
